✨ Vee’s baking tips
- Chilling the hocus pocus cookie dough before baking will ensure that your cookies don’t overspread on the pan when baking. Don’t skip it!
- What makes this recipe, so fun is that each one will end up looking a little bit different. Let your creativity come out!
- I recommend using a silicone baking mat when baking these cookies. Here’s one of my favorites from Amazon.
- Set your baking timer for 5 minutes less than the recipe calls for so that you can ensure that the white chocolate chip cookies don’t end up overdone.
✨ How to assemble and bake this Hocus Pocus cookie recipe
Prepare the cookie dough by following the instructions in the recipe. Then, it’s time to make these cookies colorful!
Separate the dough into three smaller bowls. Add green food coloring to one, orange food coloring to another, and purple food coloring to the third. Start by adding only a few drops and add more until you reach your desired color.
Next, use an ice cream scoop to scoop out your cookie dough, taking small pieces of dough from each bowl. Combine all the colored cookie dough by rolling it into a ball.
Once you’ve rolled all of your cookie dough into balls, flatten them slightly and roll the edges in a small bowl of sprinkles until evenly coated. You can choose to roll the entire ball or just the edges!
Then it’s time to bake! Place the cookie dough balls onto a baking pan 1-2 inches apart from each other and bake for 13-14 minutes. Let cool and serve!
