Hi, there Disney friend! My name is Vee – I’m the blogger and food taster here at Magically Allergy Friendly.
I am so excited to meet you – thank you for coming to my pixie-dust-sprinkled corner of the internet.
If you couldn’t already tell, I am super passionate about all things Disney – but, not gonna lie, the food is where I get REALLY excited.
That’s because I have a gluten allergy (plus a whole bunch of other sensitivities) – and Disney makes it easy for me to eat safely!

Why I Started This Disney Food Blog
Look, I 10000% understand. I know what it’s like to go on vacation or even out to dinner with friends or family who eat “regular” food and literally have so. much. anxiety. about what to eat.
It’s worse when people were like, “Let’s just figure it out when we get there, or let’s see what we are in the mood for later.”
Ummm… NO! I need time to google and research the menu and what their protocols are like.
- Are they familiar with my allergy?
- How high is the risk for cross-contamination?
- Am I going to be the only one not able to eat and just watch everyone else enjoy their meal and wait till I get home to heat up leftovers?
These are just some of the things I tend to think about. Let alone being the odd one out and having people stare and judge.
It’s the WORST!!!
But not at Disney.

No More Headaches and Anxiety- Actually ENJOY Your Vacation!
Between work and life, I travel to Disney World at least 6 times a year, often more! A big part of that is because I am on a mission to get you the inside scoop on all things allergy-friendly.
And, I mean the top 9 allergies! That includes:
- Gluten
- Milk
- Eggs
- Wheat
- Fish
- Shellfish
- Peanuts
- Soy
- Tree Nuts
I know there are so many other allergies out there, and I will do my best to cover them when I can! I chose these 9 because most spots at Disney can accommodate these (but that doesn’t mean they won’t accommodate yours. All you have to do is ask!)

Magical AF Foodies Will Find…
… allergy menus for quick service spots and restaurants all across Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts.
… food reviews of each location we visit, sharing the experience, food pics to get an idea of what it looks like, as well as tips and hacks I learn at each meal. I’ll even share what my must-have is for each spot!
… inspired allergy-friendly recipes you can make at home based on fan-favorite bites from Disney Parks and Movies.
At the end of the day, I want to be able to help all of you just enjoy the Disney magic and eat delicious food along the way.
My goal is to help create even more awareness surrounding food allergies and help lead the initiative to create a safer place for everyone with allergies and sensitivities and to offer more options when it comes to what is being served at Disney Parks.

Meet Vee
Hi, I’m Vee, and I have been a Disney fan as far back as I remember. I lived in Miami my whole childhood- just 3 short hours away from Disney!
When I’m in the parks, you’ll find me at Magic Kingdom or over at Port Orleans enjoying their gluten-free beignets.
If you can’t tell from the picture (or my mermaid hair), my favorite princess is Ariel from The Little Mermaid!
My favorite times to visit are during festivals – so be sure to check back regularly for all the details of Festival of the Arts, Food & Wine, and more.
